d audio broadcast and begin clerking the sale in real-time\,
taking competing bids from both our auction platform and thi
rd-party national auction platform partners from other bidde
rs around the world. If you are unable to bid in real-time d
uring the online broadcast sale\, PLEASE make sure to leave y
our max bids ahead of time to avoid missing out on this fant
astic array of items. We are pleased to bring to market this
massive and impressive one-owner collection of fine Alaska
 Native carvings\, scrimshaw\, basketry\, artifacts\, natural his

versity\, Mr. Gross started his career as a bespoke travel ag

40 years\, his lifestyle has centered around constant trips a
round the globe\, accumulating millions of miles flown and v
isiting Alaska hundreds of times. Among his favorite locatio
ns to visit were St. Lawrence Island and Nome\, from which he
curated a fine collection of ivory carvings\, basketry\, scri
 mshaw\, and exceptional museum-quality artifacts\, nearly all
of which were purchased directly from local community member
 s. This auction\, held over the span of two days due to the q
uantity of material within\, features his entire lifelong col
lection and is one you won't want to miss.  Day two highlig
hts include Arthur's complete collection of Alaskan artifact
s\, nearly all of which were acquired directly on St. Lawrenc
e Island. Spanning Old Bering Sea to more recent 19th/early
20th-century historical times\, the material ranges from entr
y-level to the best one could hope to acquire in the form of
rare effigies and figures\, incised tools\, harpoon points an
 d transfer shafts\, oil lamps\, stone points\, and much more! E
verything opens at $5 and is being sold without reserve. We
hope you can join us for an unforgettable auction experience
  on June 29th.
